Alex Kavanagh

Creating characters for film and TV is a passion for Costume Designer Alex Kavanagh. Comfortable in any genre of visual storytelling from comedies like Harold And Kumar Go To White Castle and The Kids In The Hall: Death Come To Town, to dramas like The Vow and Real Time, to kids shows like How To Build A Better Boy and Made: The Movie, to quirky indies like No Stranger Than Love and Camille, Alex is most well known for her work in the action/horror genre.

Kavanagh designed 6 of the Saw franchise films, 3 of George A. Romero’s Land Of The Dead zombie features, 2 Ginger Snaps werewolf sequels, the creature body horror Splice and the dystopian gothic rock opera Repo! The Genetic Opera.

Most recently Alex’s work can be seen on Season 2 of the Skydance action comedy show FUBAR on Netflix in 2025 starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Monica Barbaro.
