Georgina’s wide range, sense of style and period, as well as meticulous research, have always guided her through many projects. Miss Sloane Director, John Madden, asked her to create the look of the high power lobbyist played by Jessica Chastain, and supported by Mark Strong, Alison Pill, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, John Lithgow, Michael Stuhlbarg and Sam Waterson. For her efforts Georgina was Short Listed for the 2016 Academy Awards, unusual that a contemporary film receive such a recognition. In contrast, for The Calling she designed a small town murder mystery starring Susan Sarandon, Ellen Burstyn, Gil Bellows, Topher Grace, and Donald Sutherland. Patch Town, an offbeat piece where whimsical character designs won her great praise at TIFF.
Georgina’s meticulous research paid off on, Assault on Precinct 13 starring Ethan Hawke, Laurence Fishburne, Maria Bello and Gabriel Byrne.
