Jennifer Lantz

Early on, Jenn’s deep love of period clothing led her to collecting, pattern drafting and sewing. After completing degrees in The Study of Religion, and then Fine Art, she entered into the film industry as a stitcher and made her way up through the years to become a designer. As a lifelong painter, Jenn’s passion for colour and texture are expressed in her design choices, which align with her interest in the dystopian aesthetic and aged costumes. An additional degree in Industrial design provides unique insight, allowing her to collaborate closely with Production and Set designers.

Jenn’s lengthy experience on set is an advantage when working with stunt performers and actors of all kinds. A strong grasp of character is informed by Jenn’s love of reading and research. Resourceful, and with a strong love of the outdoors, Jenn has travelled a good part of the world. Jenn exhibits in Canada and internationally and a painter and textile artist.
